PROCEDURE

Hide 1.INSTALL FUEL SUCTION TUBE ASSEMBLY WITH PUMP

a.

Install a new gasket to the fuel suction tube assembly with pump.

Connect the fuel hose with the paint mark facing towards the top of the vehicle, and then secure the clip.


c.

Install the fuel suction tube assembly with pump into the fuel tank assembly.

NOTICE:

Do not damage the fuel suction tube assembly with pump.



Hide 77168A 2.INSTALL FUEL TANK VENT TUBE SET PLATE

a.

Install the fuel tank vent tube set plate and tube clamp with the 8 bolts.

Torque:
6.0 N*m (61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf)


Hide 77209D 3.CONNECT FUEL TANK MAIN TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

Connect the fuel tank main tube sub-assembly with the tube joint clip.

Check that there are no scratches or foreign objects on the connecting parts.

Check that the fuel tube joint is inserted securely.

·

Check that the tube joint clip is on the collar of the fuel tube joint.

·

After installing the tube joint clip, check that the fuel tube joint cannot be pulled off.

·

Be careful not to damage the tube joint clip. If the tube joint clip is damaged, replace it.
